Sunless Tanning With Tea

Everyone wants a great tan and there are endless ways to achieve it. People sunbathe, visit tanning booths, take pills and apply creams, but what works? According to advertisements, all tanning products are safe and effective, but after reading consumer reviews, you'll begin to doubt those claims. Overtime, unsatisfied and tan hungry consumers have turned to their kitchens for homemade tanning products, and some of them even work!

Many people have pale complexions and desire a nice, even, natural looking tan. They've tried everything on the market and after spending thousands they've only been disappointed. My quest for the perfect, inexpensive tan lead me to the kitchen. I had read some information on tanning with tea. Although this idea sounds crazy, it's not quite as crazy as spending hundreds of dollars on a tanning membership so I save it a try. Here I've outlined how to tan using tea and the results I've had with this method.

First you'll want to gather the materials needed for tea tanning. I used four large tea bags, two and a half cups of water and a masonry sponge. I used a masonry sponge because it can absorb a lot of liquid and is smooth, soft and pliable. Next you should thoroughly clean and exfoliate your skin. Exfoliating will remove any rough patches of skin that could cause uneven results. Exfoliating will also remove some layers of old skin that ensures your tea-tan will last as long as possible. If you are tanning your legs, make sure to shave them before tanning. If you shave after tanning you'll remove the skin that you have worked to tan. Once completely clean and dry, you can start your tea.

Prepare the tea as you would if you were going to consume it. Be sure to let the tea steep for at least five minutes and then cool enough to be able to touch it. The tanning process is pretty messy, so find an area you can clean after (no carpet!) Or do not mind messing up. Grab your masonry sponge (or gauze) and soak it in the tea. Once you have a generous amount of tea on the application device rub it across your skin. You can dab or rub the tea all over your skin in any direction you please. Actually using both rubbing and dabbing methods may provide you with more coverage. Tea-tanning rarely streaks which makes it a great option for at-home tanners. After applying a generous amount of tea to your skin, let it dry for at least ten minutes. If the tea-tan is not dark enough for your liking, you can repeat the process as many times as you like making sure to allow time for drying in between. To get a noticeably different skin tone you may have to apply the tea around 8-10 times. The longer you allow the tea set the defect the color will become. Try to wait at least 4 hours before showering and do not exfoliate.

Tea tanning does not last as long as long as spray tanning however, it does work! You're tan will probably be near gone after two day, but if you are looking for a natural sunless tan this is a great method.

Double Dipping – What You Need To Know Before You Get A Bikini Wax

On January 15th I decided to return to school and get my esthetics license. I am loving every minute of it! I especially enjoy performing waxing services (bikini, Brazilians excluded)! Part of my education (and a rude awakening) is of course sanitation, health codes, and safety precautions. I have never thought about it prior, but it turns out double dipping appears to be a problem that runs amok in many salons and spas (and right in front of my eyes at my FORMER nail salon). Also, the general public does not have a clue on what is safe and what is a glaring health code violation.

Well, I've got good news and bad news. The good news is I am going to give you the 411 on what is right (and hygienic). The bad news is many of you have probably already been the victim of the “Double Dip” and not even known it was putting you at risk for a plethora of nasty little diseases.

First off, double dipping is a health code violation in pretty much every state in America! Now let me make this clear, it is a health code violation and just because something is a health code violation does not make it illegal as many truly uninformed morons have been throwing about. It is not a crime the police are not coming to take you away, but if the technician will be fined and if sentenced repeatedly the technician faces larger fines and the loss of their license nothing more.

Here's the problem, did you even know it was wrong? When you are getting your eyebrows waxed are your eyes even opened to see the offending double dipper? Probably not.

Let me explain why double dipping is actually bad. When the technician uses the same pot of wax for more than one customer and puts the same spatula back in to the same pot over and over they are contaminated the wax and potentially spreading disease! I mean do you really want the same wax that was used for a Brazilian used on your upper lip ?? I'm going to go with a NO!

There are different authorities with different opinions about this. Some say the wax is hot enough to kill bacteria, or bacteria can not grow in a pot of wax. This simply is not true. In order to kill bacteria the wax would have to be set to a temperature of 140 degrees F, and then kept at 130 degrees F to keep it bacteria free. Wax pots are never more than a few degrees above body temperature and if they were kept any hotter it would burn the skin. The other theory is that bacteria can not grow in a wax pot because moisture is not present. I am not as sure about this as I could find a definite answer, but let me ask you this: do you really want someone else's pubic hair stuck in the wax on your upper lip ??!

there is one exception to the double dip and that is if the wax is brand new and only being used on a single person and then thrown away you are not at risk of spreading disease, but let's face it no one is going to spend the money to change out a pot of wax for every client and it is still not a good idea period!

So, now you know it is wrong (and really gross). What do you do with this information and how do you ensure you will not be the victim of this nasty practice?

Simple, ask questions people !! When you go to a spa to get waxing done take a GOOD look around !! Is it clean? Is the staff neatly dressed and well groomed? Ask to use the restroom (the condition of the restroom will tell you a whole lot). Ask them up front if they double dip. If they say no make sure they have plenty of disposable spatulas on hand for your service. Look at the wax pot! Is it clean and free of any debris?

Cheaper is not always better (it is not always bad either). However, you should be more concerned about safety and less concerned about cost. The extra money you spend getting the service may save you thousands in medical bills in the future.

You are your own best advocate, do not be afraid to ask the questions and do not let anyone tell you that double dipping is “OK” it is not, period !!

Now that you know you can make choices that will keep you safe and healthy.

Medical Spa Knowledge: What Is Latisse Eyelash Enhancement?

Eyelashes are not usually the first thing you think of when you hear about medical spas, but thanks to the new development of Latisse eyelash enhancement it's about time for that to change. If you've grown used to having thin, short, and uninspiring eyelashes you'll probably be amazed at the potential of Latisse. It's a new prescription treatment that can help your eyelashes gain volume, length, and thickness, and it's available at your local medical spa right now. This article will explain the Latisse eyelash treatment so you can decide if it's right for you. We'll be considering both the benefits of treatment, along with what you can expect both at the medical spa and after at home. And if it's right for you, you'll be enjoying thicker and more luscious lashes in no time!

How Does Latisse Eyelash Enhancement Work?

Lattise is a carefully designed treatment from the Allergan company; it is a prescription eyelash treatment designed to help those with thin or weak lashes, available from your doctor or trusted medical spa. It is meant to be applied at home by the client once or twice a day directly to the eyelid, right along the eyelash line. This regular application increases the number of lashes that are actively growing at any given time.

Latisse is based on the active medical ingredient birmatoprost, an ingredient contained in many prescription eyedrops. As this ingredient has been extensively tested both in the development of eyedrops and for the clinical trials for Latisse, we know it's safe for use on and around the eyes for the vast majority of people. However, it is still a prescription medication, which is why it's important to consult with a doctor or medical professional at a reputable medical spa, who can review your medical history to see if you have any conditions that may interact with Latisse.

What Should You Expect When Receiving Latisse Eyelash Enhancement at a Medical Spa?

When you head to the medical spa for your first Latisse Eyelash treatment, you will meet with a medical professional who will discuss the treatment with you. After that it's simply a case of filling the prescription and applying it as prescribed. If you miss a day, no worries, you can simply make it up the next day. Latisse starts to take effect after the first month, with visibly thicker, fuller, and more prominent lashes in 4 to 5 months' time. If you have any questions about the use of Latisse, write them down to ask during your medical spa visit.

What to Expect After Leaving the Medical Spa, and Starting Daily Use of Latisse?

After your visit to the medical spa, it will be up to you to apply the Latisse Eyelash Enhancement. You can still use mascara normally while undergoing treatment with Latisse. You can even use it while using your normal contact lenses, or in conjunction with existing eyelash extensions. If you stop using Latisse your eyelashes should return to normal over the next few weeks. The majority of patients experience no negative side effects, and notice a significant improvement in lash fullness, length, and darkness after 2 months. Some patients may notice darkening of the skin of the eyelid, or slight dry-eye symptoms, but these will fade after discontinuing use if they are bothersome enough to do so.

Latisse Eyelash Enhancement is a highly popular new aesthetic treatment, so do not be surprised if you start hearing about it more and more as it gains popularity. But if you'd rather not wait, head to a trusted local medical spa and ask them about Latisse Eyelash Enhancement, and you'll have thicker and more luxurious lashes in just a few short months.

What Is the Difference Between LimeLight Facial Rejuvenation and Pearl Photo Facial Treatments?

You may have heard about the increasingly popular photo facials treatments and wonders if they're right for you. There are many different photo facial treatment options out there, and we'll be looking at two of the most popular in this article: LimeLight facial rejuvenation and Pearl Photo Facial. Both these treatments can help revitalize your skin by making it healthier and younger looking. However, there are some important differences between them. This article will provide an overview covering both of these popular facial methods to make it easier to decide which one is right for you.

Stepping Into The LimeLight: What is LimeLight facial rejuvenation and what should you expect from it?

LimeLight represents a new invention in the field of skin care that uses carefully calibrated light energy to improve skin tone, repair sun damage, and treat skin discolourations. It may sound like a miracle treatment, but the principals behind this photo facial technique are simple. The practitioner will customize the facial to your skin type and consult with you to determine what areas you would like treated, generally around the face and neck. Then they selectively treat those areas for brown or red discolouration, improving and evening overall skin tone. During the facial there is only a mild pinching sensation, and most patients do not need any anesthesia. Depending on the level of skin damage you are looking to repair you should expect one to three treatments; even badly sun damaged skin may take further treatment. After the LimeLight facial treatment you can expect to start seeing results in one to three weeks.

Pearl Photo Facials: How does it work and what are the results?

The Pearl Photo Facial procedure also uses light energy, but is designed to reduce wrinkles, sun damage, and uneven texture. Slightly more intensive than the LimeLight treatment, it is able to act directly upon wrinkles and damaged skin. Again you will select treatment areas during your consultation. Then these areas are treated with pulses of light that work both on the surface layer of cells and on the tissue below. The surface layer of skin will peel off after a few days allowing healthy, smooth, and soft skin underneath. The deeper level of heat works to stimulate further growth of healthy skin, or treat broken capillaries and the like. Expect a bit of a social cooling off period for three to four days after a Pearl Photo Facial; it can take time for the old skin to give way to the new, and during this time your face may appear red or sunburnt, and you will need to apply ointment. But after a few days you'll be ready to go full speed ahead again, with your youngger and healthy looking skin.

Common visits and what to expect with a Photo Facial

Both the Pearl and LimeLight photo facial treatments are medical procedures, and as such you should make sure to plan for the time needed for a consultation before undergoing either treatment. That said, they are both exceptionally safe procedures with only very mild amounts of pain, and most patients do not need any pain medication. Both treatments are individually tailor to your needs, targeting specific layers of skin and only in designated treatment areas. And most importantly, both treatments can revitalize your skin and help it look and feel younger and clearer. If this article has left you with any questions about Photo Facials, do not hesitate to contact a local reputable medical spa.

Day To Day Life With A Hot Tub

If you purchase the right hot tub for your family then make no mistake it can be one of the best purchases that you ever make and you will wonder why you have not bought one years ago. For one thing they are far easier to look after than swimming pool and they require far less water to fill them up with as well as costing far less to heat. Installation costs are substantially less than with a swimming pool and the one thing they do not require is a large hole digging in the ground to install them. Nor do they require permanent main services running to them, although it helps if you can do.

They are to an amount also portable, which means if you move house then you can take the hot tub with you, the same can not often be said of a swimming pool without it is of the above ground variety.

When purchasing a hot tub though, there is quite a bit to take into consideration along the initial purchase cost, and while they do not cost a lot to run on a day to day basis there are many water tests and water treatments that you actually need to carry out on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to ensure the water quality remains very high and crystal clear. Simply put if you leave your hot tub untreated for more than a few days then it will come back and bite you, as due to the warm conditions in it, if the water conditions such as pH levels are wrong then you will find algae rapidly growing in the water. It is therefore vital that you carry out all relevant tests and water treatment at the required intervals be it daily, weekly, or monthly as if a large amount of algae develops you will find yourself having to empty all of the water out of the hot tub and carry out a deep clean before refilling. Not an easy task, or one that you want to repeat!

So you will need to plan for trips away from home even for a couple of days, never mind a week, to ensure that you have your neighbor come around and carry out the water treatment tasks to ensure your hot tub is looked after nicely while you are away from home.

Living with a hot tub on a day to day basis can be very easy, you just need to plan ahead a little and ensure that you purchase the right size hot tub for your requirements in the first place to make it easy and affordable to live with .

5 Facts About Dead Sea Body Scrub

If you want to have a healthy, smooth and glowing looking skin there are two basic actions you need to do on a regular basis: exfoliate and moisturize. By using a body scrub you can easily remove dead skin cells and other impurities accumulated in the layers of the skin, followed by a rich moisturizer to help the skin keep its natural balance and stay hydrated.

Using a Dead Sea body scrub has many skin benefits over regular drugstore scrubs. If you are unfamiliar with body scrubs, you should know it is usually made of some sort of gravey substance, salt in the case of dead sea salt scrub, but it can also be made of grinded cocoa beans, apricot seed and many other natural ( and sometimes artificial) materials. The quality of the grains is very important for the end result. If the grains are too coarse the scrub may irritate the skin and even hurt it. If the grains are made of synthetic materials they may not cause any damage, yet not offer any benefit to your skin.

So to help you make the right choice for your skin, here are 5 basic facts about Dead Sea salt scrub and its benefits:

  1. Dead Sea Salt Contains Important Minerals- Dead Sea salt contain minerals such as calcium, potassium, magnesium, bromide, sulfur and more. All these minerals are vital for the body, and help with natural process and proper cell function. Magnesium, for instance, is a key component of more than 300 different biochemical reactions that occur in the body. A Dead Sea salt scrub has the ability to infuse all these minerals into the skin, and instantly boost the skin's condition.
  2. Uses Natural Oils- the salt grains can not work on their own. The salt must be infused in an oily matter, so the grains can glide easily over the skin is gentle massage motions. A quality Dead Sea salt scrub contains essential oils, and no artificial scents. The essential oils combined with the minerals from the salt are an effective treatment for tiered, dull looking skin.
  3. Promotes Better Blood Circulation- the rubbing and scrubbing motions acts as gentle massage and stimulates the blood flow in those areas. The result is better blood circulation that benefits not only the skin surface, but also the entire body.
  4. Removes Dead Skin Cells- a good scrub is the best way to remove dead skin cells and reveal a new fresh layer of skin. Dead skin cells are the reason for flaky looking skin, uneven patches, breakouts and dryness. Removing the top layer of the skin helps your skin to breath better, look more even and feel smoother.
  5. Offer Deeper Hydration- thanks to the essential oils, the salt scrub infuses the skin with moisture and hydrates the deeper levels of the skin. Try rinsing it off without using any soap, to keep the silky sensation and the wonderful aroma of the oils.

The Negative Effect Poor Personal Hygiene Has On A Person’s General Sense Of Well-Being

For several days I have tried to set on a topic to write and have had absolutely no luck coming up with one with which I felt comfortable. While this was laying heavily on my thought I got up one morning and, as is my custom, entered the shower and began washing and soaking. The hot water was grand and I basked in complete contentment as it gently cascaded down and pummeled my body. As I applied my favorite body wash for men, using it according to direction, my thought focused on how wonderful it was that I could shower and keep clean but surprised what the negative impact would be of not being able to stay clean and practice good personal hygiene. So there you have it. I decided on using that epiphany moment of insight as my point of departure for this article. I am glad I did. It is a worthy topic on which to write. What then is the negative impact of a general lack of personal hygiene and an habitually dirty body, on such person's general sense of well-being?

Where do we look for answers to this perplexing question? I decided to focus on the layout of street people as the most transparent and meaningful examples of the point I wanted to make. I want it perfectly clear that I do not see any relationship relationship suggesting an inability to practice good personal hygiene as the cause of anyone having to live on the streets. But I do suggest it is axiomatic that there is a nexus establishing the need to live on the street, as a primary cause of a person's ability to practice the requirements of good personal hygiene ..

  • Problems Encountered From A Lack Of Personal Hygiene: The Effect of A Dirty Body on General Well-Being

Forced to live on the streets or some other place where a person is unable to do what is necessary for good personal hygiene has devastating effects. Here are some of them.

Employment

If such a person had employment when this problem is arse, it is unilaterally that he will be able to stay employed much more than a week or so following his move into the streets. For who among us will look with charity and patience on someone in the work force, sometimes in the cubicle next to us, filling the available air with body odor?

What are the employment prospects if he did not already have a job? After a week or so living on the street his chances of earning suitable employment are next to nothing and becoming less and less with each passing day.

Social Considerations

It would be an exceptional host or hostess sponsoring a dinner party that would invite our street person to attend. Even if a close friend, I suggest that no invitation would be issued and the most that would happen is that food might be inconspicuously offered him as a way of extending charity. In the name of brotherly love, he might even be allowed to take a shower. But how many times would he be able to count on that? He would have exhausted his welcome by the end of the first week, if not before. Again, his lack of cleanliness, dirty clothes, the body odor and bad breath that exist under such circumstances are all road blocks that prevent his inclusion in the social network, if any, that he had before this disaster.

Then, too, there are people who for whatever reason are just plain careless and even unwilling to spend the time needed to be clean. This type of person almost by definition becomes a social misfit and loner. Shy and introverted he would typically spend his time alone shutting out the world and others who might normally be actively engaged in his life in some meaningful way.

Medical and Health Concerns

Finally there are any number of medical and general health conditions contracted when living on the street. Lice in the head and pubic areas acquired from the need to use poorly maintained public restrooms and having to sleep almost literally on the ground every night. Colds and the flu become common place as do a number of other medical conditions requiring treatment.

What Can Be Done To Help?

What are some of the things we must do to remedy or mitigate the effects of these life circumstances that are impairing the general sense of well-being of those encountering this problem?

  • Updated vaccinations are needed to protect the public health and where possible prevent the outbreak of disease.
  • Proper sanitation is a must.
  • The construction of low cost public housing to put a roof over the heads of homeless people and get them off the streets.
  • Those who have the means to look after them but do not should be required to attend a seminar on how to keep them clean and healthy.
  • For a person that just will not maintain personal cleanliness there is very little that we can do for him except to make every attempt to instill in him the need, if necessary by engaging the service of professionals in social work, psychology and other disciplines.
  • Those with other disabilities have their local public health Department and a number of social and religious entities on which to draw. The Salvation Army, Meals on Wheels and similar programs are widely available to homeless, elderly and disabled people. Depending upon one's circumstances, education and counseling on how to properly care for one's self might be available. The Internet, a good telephone directory and the Public Health Department are good resources for identifying locally available agencies capable of providing help to a person wanting to overcome this problem.

Conclusion

The failure to follow good personal hygiene practices will lead to a variety of personal, social and medical conditions that greatly impact upon a person's sense of general well-being. They also have the potential to cause problems for the general population if allowed to get out hand. A wise person once wrote the aphorism “cleanliness is next to godliness.” By remembering this it serves as a reminder of our need to practice good personal hygiene.

Hot Tubs – Do They Really Cause Problems?

The hot tub is one of those units that can raise all sorts of arguments when it comes to safety and many people are put off by the discussions that have occurred. Some of these discussions are accurate and some are mythical and it is important to get the right balance. There is no point in getting it wrong, the general view is that used correctly and in the right condition the hot tub can bring many benefits to the user and provide a good environment. A poor usage can potentially harm the user and these need checking before usage.

They allow people to soak in water at high temperatures and at a temperature above 110 degrees F there have been a number of reported fatalities either by causing drowsiness followed by drowning, or heart, or stroke problems. The sensible thing is to reduce the temperature to below 104 degrees F and to be sensible about the time that is spent in the water. There is a strong recommendation from most sources to keep the time in the tub to a small amount say 20 minutes depending on the temperature, basically the higher the temperature the shorter the time. If a long time is spent in the water the blood temperature will rise specifically if the water temperature is set very high and the blood temperature can go above the 98.6 degrees F then it is possible to experience hypothermia. The simple rule is to be sensible and if the user has any doubts on his medical problems be they high or low blood pressure or circulation or other problems then they should consult their medical practiceer and get a proper recommendation.

The water, when warm, by definition contains a lot of bacteria and generally these are not harmful but they require to be controlled and this is done by various cleaning systems and it is essential to keep those under control. This must be done regularly and the water should be changed from time to time.

The other big problem is that heavy drinking and hot tubs do not go together and should be avoided at all costs.

There are however many benefits to having a good hot tub, it improves the circulation by dilating the blood vessels. It removes toxins as the high temperature causes the body to perspire and the sweat removes the toxins. The high water temperature and pressure from the water jets helps to grow the white cells and antibodies. Generally the benefits of the hot tub far outweigh the problems.

Protecting Your Spa and Salon Clients and Staff During the Cold and Flu Season

Being a mother of four I have always been a bit concerned about germs and keeping my kids healthy, especially during cold and flu season. As I am sure we all are.

Do not get me wrong, I was not a fanatic or anything … heck a bit of dirt never killed anyone, right? Well, that I know of, and waaaaay back when in 'the good old days' we just did not have all of the anti-bacterial products or even the concerns or attention on it that we have today.

Because we are so much more aware today than years ago, it is important to do our best or protect ourselves from any harmful bacteria or virus that can, not only steal time away from us, but actually jeopardize our lives hoods and rack up so pretty hefty medical bills to boot! However, no matter how hard we try at home or when we out and about, there is just no way to always protect ourselves.

I will confess … I did become a fanatic of sorts from May 2010 through September 2011 when I was taking care of my daughter, Kathryn, 24/7 while going through cancer treatments. With the immune system so low all of the time, it is very important not to come in contact with any virus or bacteria … So I admit it, I carried the disinfectant wipes, disinfectant spray and the anti-bacterial hand gel everywhere! Everything had to be wiped down before she came in contact with it to less the chance of contacting “a bug,” which would have been very detrimental.

This is what prompted me to sit down and write this. Kathryn's twin sister, Michelle, recently had to go into the Emergency Room for dizziness and headache. While there she went into the back area to have the lab work done and when she was instructed to go back and sit in the waiting room for the results.

When she and her father first arrived there were two people in the waiting area, one broke a finger and the other had chest pains. In the back, however, every room was filled and the nurse said that she was the only one in the past four hours that was not here because of the flu. By the time she came back out after the lab she counted about 10 people laying all over the place, coughing, sneezing, fever, vomiting with more coming in the door! She sat far enough away from them and called me.

I told her to see if she could just get the hospital to call her with results since you did not have the flu and did not want to stick around to get it, if at all possible. She said they were calling people into the back and more would just sit down where that person got up … no one was given a mask, and no one was disinfecting anything! This means that when Michelle and her father sat in the waiting room when they first got there, all of the people in the back had been sitting on the same sofas and chairs! They had to sit somewhere, but we will never know if anything was disinfected or sanitized between patients … in the waiting room or in the lab room chairs and tables. Or do we?

Well, two days later … Bing, Bang, BOOM! Full blown flu, for both of them!

This got me thinking … how are you protecting your clients, staff and yourself from catching this “flu bug” that seems to be taking over America? Some areas are worse than others, but we all need to think about this. Billions of dollars and productivity are being spent and lost from lost wages and employee absenteeism for sick days.

Of course, it is important to always keep your spa or salon clean. It is important to take steps in your spa or salon to continue to do business during flu and cold season by keeping your clients and staff healthy. By showing your clients that your spa or salon business has their best interest and health at heart, you will most definitely score major loyalty points! As well as going above and beyond when other businesses are not.

Here are a few Safety Preclusions during the cold and flu season for your Spa and Salon:

1. If filling out a Client Questionnaire, be sure to either wipe off pens or this would be a great time to pass out new pens with your Spa or Salon Business information to all new clients or anyone that need to fill out any forms.

2. Be sure to have Front Desk Staff disinfect front counter, phone, charge card machine, key board or any service they come in contact with.

3. If you're waiting area has furniture that can be wiped down periodically, do so.

4. In between clients, make sure to wipe down salon chairs, especially the arm rests top and underside. As well as arm rests on shampoo bowl chairs.

5. If you have magazines in the waiting area, print out a large sticker on the front that reminds people to be sure to wash their hands. In fact, this is where you can simply say, “Because we make your health and safety our priority, we recommend to wash your hands after enjoying reading this magazine either while waiting for your appointment or relaxing during your scheduled treatment.”

6. Always use gloves to put dirty towels into washing machine and always wipe machine off so no clean towels or sheets will come in contact where the dirty laundry may have touched.

7. Do not allow dirty laundry to sit over night.

8. Keep disposable masks on hand for any employee or client that feels they need to use one.

9. Spray down services with disinfectant spray every night prior to closing.

10. Eat right, get enough sleep, and stay hydrated.

What are you doing to protect your Spa and Salon staff and clients healthy during the cold and flu season?

Simple Beauty Treatments to Check If That Spa Is Worth It

Spas are more common than people using smart phones nowdays are, and that is because of the gross increase in the number of people who wish to look and feel good about themselves. All regions have a number of spas sprouting up every other day, and it does become difficult to decide whether a particular spa is worth it or not. While you can not actually barge into a spa and ask them whether they will give you the best service possible, you can sign up for some basic beauty treatments that will give you the chance to find out what kind of products they use, whether the aesthetians are well versed with their task and other such aspects. If these treatments seem to be overpriced, or if they are out of your budget, you can safely concede that that particular spa is not something that you would be interested in going to.

The most basic treatments are pedicure and manicure. These treatments take a decent amount of time, so you can look around the spa too, and check whether it is hygienic, ensures that it has all the safety precautions in place, etc.

An herbal massage has more or less become compulsive because of the hectic lifestyle that people follow today. A good masseur will not just de-stress your body, but will also make you feel comfortable and rejuvenate you on a psychological basis too. You might want to know more about the spa before you opt for a herbal massage, because this is the only treatment listed that has the risk of serious physical injury to the human body, but that is only if the masseur does not know what he or Egypt she is doing.

Nail care is another small beauty treatment that one can sign up. Nail care mainly manufactures the shining, polishing and whitening of the entire nail. This process should not take much time, and you can again check various aspects, like the process that they adhere to, what kind of products and ingredients they use, so on and so forth.

A skin cleanup is another simple treatment that no spa worth its salt should mess up. Skin cleanup is generally the process where your skin is cleaned up of the various pollutants that it might encounter in daily life, and makes you look brighter, cleaner, and of course, makes you feel better. With this, you can keep a tab on how much time they would take for simple processes like these, and whether the ingredients and products that they use are at par with your requirements or not.

Most areas have a number of spas and salons, which you can try out at your convenience. Some of them are really busy and you need to make an appointment with them. Most of them have websites, which provide you information like their contact numbers and timings, their tariffs and other such information. Some would even provide detailed information about the various treatments they offer.

Going to the Spa: Beauty Treatments to Keep You Looking Your Best

Every woman wants to be beautiful. Having the perfect hair, the perfect skin and the perfect bikini body is every girl's dream. Sometimes nature will not cooperate with you when it comes to beauty. A simple solution is getting beauty treatments from a spa, salon or resort. Some spa treatments that might be helpful to you would be getting waxed for hair removal, using a tanning bed / booth to achieve that warm glow, and getting a facial to get your skin looking beautiful. Any one of these or any combination of them would be the perfect way to get your body looking its best.

Get Rid of that Unwanted Hair

Do you have unsightly hair that you'd love to get rid of? If you do not have the time, the energy, or the desire to remove hair at home, going somewhere to be waxed is a great option. The professionals there will be able to get rid of whatever hair you want gone. They will also be able to see the hair better than you would at home. They have excellent lighting for just that purpose and they also can see places you may not be able to see as well; such as the backs of your legs or your bikini line. Do not strain your neck searching for unwanted hair; let a professional do it easily.

Casper is not Welcome at the Pool Parties

Are you ghostly white when winter rolls around? Tanning salons are great at getting rid of your pale skin when the sun is not out for months. Some people are not comfortable wearing little to no clothing at the beach or pool. Using a tanning bed will allow you to have that gorgeous bronze look without having to be uncomfortable in front of strangers. Some women dream of having a beautiful winter wonderland wedding, but do not want to look like an ice witch in their wedding photos. A pre-wedding tan is the perfect answer if the sun just will not come out for you. Look great any time of year!

Rejuvenate your Lifeless Skin and Bring Back the Beauty

Having dull, lifeless skin is every girl's nightmare. Women want beautiful, glowing skin, especially on their face; the first thing everyone sees when they look at them. A facial can rejuvenate your skin and bring out the glow that's been missing. It removes the dead, dull skin follicles and uncovers the new skin underneath. A facial will clean out your clogged pores and shrink them, making your face look flawless. Your skin will feel tight and you will feel young.

There are many things in life that can hurt your appearance. Badly placed hair, a paper white bikini body and a dull complexion are all things women suffer from through the year. Keep yourself looking and feeling your best by going to a spa or resort. They offer waxing, tanning, and facials to improve your outer beauty to match your inner beauty. Do not hide behind unmaintained features. Get to the professionals and let them get you back to your gorgeous self.
